When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect your credit/debit card details and personally identifiable (name, address, email address etc.) as well as private or event relevant information such as your age, gender, nationality, mobile phone number etc.

All credit/debit card details will NOT be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased by us to any third parties.

All personally identifiable and private or event relevant information is the general base of our data management needed to assign a cooking partner and plan the event schedule. This personal data is only collected to organise the event and NOT stored, sold, shared, rented or leased by us to any other third parties expect shared with the event participants. All participants agree to our Private Policy on confidential handling of the data provided via email or mobile phone or any other way. Further distribution to any other third parties outside the event explicitly require the prior consent of sender, especially but not limited to in relation to personal communication and address data.

You further acknowledge that we make efforts to prevent fraud and to confirm your identity. Dine to Gather reserves the right to limit, block access to the Services and/or terminating the user account if such required information and documentation are not provided or are inaccurate. Dine To Gather shall bear no responsibilities to the possible losses you incur upon the closure of your account or registration with us.

Data management and event schedule

Latest 1 (one) day prior to the event the 'Personal Dinner Route' is sent in pdf format via email inclusive the following:

  • The assigned course and any information of your guests’ allergies or food dislikes. If relevant the details of your surprise cooking partner​
  • ​First name of your guests
  • Event schedule
  • ​Address and mobile number of participants selected to host 
  • Location and time of After-Dinner Event
  • Mobile number of Dine To Gather contact person

Event schedule changes

Due to short-term registrations or cancellations changes in the event schedule (cooking partner arrangement or assigned course might occur. All event participants will be informed immediately.

Day of event

Dine To Gather sends event specific information on the day of event via email, What's App or SMS. To ease the communication process What's App Groups will be set up for the event and deleted right after. All participants agree to leave the What's App Groups as soon as the event has ended.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer's internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us to assist you and to learn about your browser and operating system.

With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.


How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to transact our services to you.

Your data is stored through Shopify's data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall at their own risk and responsibility and without liability to Dine To Gather.


If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data at their own risk and responsibility and without liability to Dine To Gather. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
